What does HP recognize as a diverse supplier?
We recognize diverse suppliers as businesses that are certified as being 51%, or more, owned and operated by people who identify with any of these categories: women, minority, veteran/service-disabled, LGBT, and disabled.
What does certified supplier status mean?
Certified diverse suppliers have been designated as diverse-owned and operated through a certification process by a recognized certifying entity. Certifying agencies conduct a comprehensive vetting process to ensure that the business is compliant in terms of their diversity requirements.
Examples of certifying agencies include: WEConnect International, National Minority Supplier Development Council, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, Disability IN Organization, National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, National Veteran’s Business Development Council.
How do I register my certified diverse company with HP Supplier Inclusion?
Complete the diverse supplier registration form.
Registration in HP’s supplier diversity database is the first step in evaluating your firm’s potential to do business with HP Inc.
What happens after submitting my registration?
Your supplier information will be securely stored and directed to the proper procurement contacts. They will reach out to you if your company matches our current business needs.
Why haven’t I been contacted for a procurement opportunity after registering?
If your company has not been contacted, unfortunately the opportunity has not yet occurred, or we currently have no need for your company’s products or services. Please note that procurement opportunities may take time to come up.
What diverse spending does HP report?
HP tracks and reports available supply chain data related to certified, Tier 1, and Tier 2 diversity metrics. HP publicly reports Supplier Inclusion data in our annual Sustainable Impact report.
